Carvings Ron started carving in 1979, professionally in 1982. Also in 1982 he started demonstrating carving at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO, becoming Resident Carver and Coordinator of Carving Activities in 1990. In November of 1999 Ron retired from SDC to concentrate on his woodcarving business from home which consisted of carving knife production, blank production, teaching, and carving. As a caricature carver Ron has specialized in hillbillies, cowboys, santas, and contemporaries. In 2007 Ron retired from his woodcarving business. He hopes you enjoy viewing some of the pieces he has carved over the years of his prolific career.
